What is a .settings file?

You will see files with names ending in .settings. These .settings files contain the information that pulls all your variations together. Whatever you do in the Livethemer inspector is recorded in this settings file. You may have multiple settings files in your Drupal site, and can choose one settings file per theme you have installed.
